CUSTOM PATCHES

Why CHOOSE CUSTOM PATCHES

Screen printing is a traditional decoration process that involves pushing ink through a woven mesh stencil onto a garment's fabric. The small openings in the screen creates the space through which the ink will go to create the print. The ink is then pushed through the mesh by a blade or squeegee. As the ink is pushed through the mesh and onto the garment, the design is printed on its fabric.

With screen printing as your print method, something to keep in mind is that only one ink color can be applied at a time. Therefore, with each ink colour that you add to your design, the setup time and associated costs rise.

Screen printing is a good choice for designs with solid colors and higher quantity orders. When printing large quantities of garments, screen printing is the most economical choice. The more shirts you order, the lower the cost per shirt. At Stay Golden Custom orders of more than 24 units with the same design using 1-6 ink colours qualify for screen print production. We added an M&R Diamondback automated screen print press to our lineup in 2022 to increase production speeds and capacity for screen print orders.
