3D embroidery combines a coloured twill base with stitched artwork and an embroidered border. Selected parts of the design are raised to create a dimensional finish; up to two artwork colours can carry the 3D effect.

How are 3D patches different from standard embroidered patches?
The raised sections create more depth and a more pronounced texture. Standard embroidery has a flatter stitched finish.
How many colours can have the raised effect?
Up to two colours in the artwork can use the 3D treatment. We will review your design to decide where the raised effect works best.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum is 12 patches. Include your preferred quantity and dimensions when requesting a quote.
Can I choose the base colour, edge, and shape?
Yes. The twill base and embroidered edge can be selected to suit your design, and the patch shape can be customized. Final details are confirmed during artwork review.
How are the patches attached?
Heat application is available. Sewing can also suit thicker fabrics or a long-term application. Tell us the material and intended use so we can recommend an appropriate approach.
How should I care for apparel with embroidered patches?
Use a gentle wash cycle, turn the garment inside out, and avoid high heat. Follow the garment care label and the instructions supplied for your patch application.
