Plan the print around the project

What are your Vancouver T-shirts for?

A merch release, a crew order and an event each need a different brief. Start with the job the shirt needs to do, then use the six-style comparison below to choose the blank.

Artists, bands & independent brands

For a Vancouver launch or merch table, the shirt itself is part of the product. Compare a lighter fine-jersey tee with a substantial garment-dyed option and consider how the artwork sits on each fit.

Plan ahead: send the finished print dimensions, shirt colours and size quantities. If the shirts are travelling with you, give us the departure date as well as the first sale date.

Workplace & production crews

For a Vancouver business, shoot or project team, separate everyday staff shirts from a wrap gift or special edition. They may have different priorities for budget, fit and print placement.

Plan ahead: gather names or role variations separately from the shared design. Tell us whether you need one coordinated run or a small top-up so we can review the printing approach.

Events, volunteers & fundraisers

For a Vancouver event, work back from the day your team needs to sort and distribute the shirts. Confirm whether the same artwork will appear on staff, volunteer and participant tees.

Plan ahead: check sizes using the chosen shirt’s chart and nominate one person to approve the final breakdown. Include youth or other fit requirements separately.

Start with the shirt

A great print starts with a tee you want to wear.

Shortlist the blank before collecting everyone’s sizes. Compare the Gildan 5000 for an economical classic tee, American Apparel 2001 for a lighter feel, and Comfort Colors 1717 for a relaxed heavyweight option. The other three styles give you more soft-jersey and heavyweight choices.

Compare the complete printed T-shirt.

A blank-shirt price is only part of the order. The tee, quantity, print method, artwork and each decoration position shape your finished quote.

For a useful comparison, keep the quantity and print scope the same across shirt options. Ask for the complete total including applicable setup, decoration, tax and pickup or delivery arrangements.

  3. Artwork: the design or a clear description of what you need.
  4. Print positions: front, back or sleeve, with an approximate finished size.
  5. Your in-hand date: plus Vancouver delivery or Burnaby pickup and your distribution date.

Malcolm and the Pressing Matters team did a fantastic job. Even though I only ordered one shirt, they treated me with the same care as a big order. The price was great, the turnaround was super fast, and the print quality exceeded expectations. I'm excited to give this as a birthday gift!

So glad I found this Vancouver t-shirt printing company. I had never chosen my own design before and had it screen printed on a t-shirt. It was easy to upload the design and it turned out perfectly. One can order just one t-shirt and there are lots to choose from and a great selection of colours. Communication and delivery excellent. Thank you!

Work back from the handover

The event date is not
always the delivery date.

For a Vancouver merch release or crew order, allow time to check quantities, sort sizes and hand out the shirts before they are needed. Tell us that earlier handover date when you request a quote.

Plan Your Vancouver T-Shirt Order →

Three details that help avoid a last-minute scramble

A single size list: include the shirt style, colour and quantity for every size, plus any separate artwork versions.

A reachable recipient: use an address where someone can accept the order. If you are using a Vancouver hotel or event venue, confirm its parcel policy and required labels first.

The real deadline: include setup, distribution or travel dates, as well as the event itself. We’ll review production and delivery options before confirming the schedule.
